The material is available in various forms and thicknesses and is suitable for applications that require precision, reliability, and consistent quality. Depending on the requirements, borosilicate glass can be further processed and adapted to specific operating conditions.

Borosilicate glass is used in numerous technical and industrial applications. At Schröder Spezialglas, the material is available both as sheet glass in thicknesses ranging from 0.7 to 25.4 mm and as plate glass up to a thickness of approximately 58 mm.
In addition to its high resistance to chemical influences, borosilicate glass offers impressive optical properties and is well-suited for applications involving fluctuating temperatures. Furthermore, depending on the requirements, the material can be processed into tempered safety glass (ESG).
