Anti-Reflective Glass
For clear visibility with significantly reduced reflections
Anti-reflective glass is coated with a special optical coating that significantly reduces distracting reflections and glare. At the same time, more light passes through the glass, making displays, objects, or components behind it more clearly visible.
Depending on the design, the coating is applied to one or both sides. High-quality anti-reflective glass thus achieves very low visible reflection and high, largely color-neutral transmission. The specific effect depends, among other things, on the coating structure and the viewing angle.
Schröder Spezialglas supports customers in selecting suitable anti-reflective lenses and implementing them in a production-ready manner - from the first prototype to mass production.
With conventional glass, some of the incident light is reflected off the surfaces. This can cause reflections, glare, and reduced contrast, particularly in front of displays, screens, or sensitive technical components.
Anti-reflective coatings reduce these reflections while improving light transmission. The result is a clearer, higher-contrast view in which colors and details are perceived as faithfully as possible. Depending on the selected version, anti-reflective glass can also be further processed through thermal tempering, bending, or printing.
Schröder Spezialglas stocks anti-reflective glass based on soda-lime glass and can further process it according to the specific component geometry.
For decades, Schröder Spezialglas has been supporting customers in industry, research, and development in the implementation of technical glass solutions. From the initial idea through prototyping to mass production, we combine expertise in materials with modern manufacturing processes and documented quality procedures.
